Sampension joins international climate task force to gauge carbon footprint

Danish pension provider Sampension says it plans to apply the recommendations of Michael Bloomberg's task force to assess the carbon footprint of its investments.

As part of its sustainable investment efforts, Denmark’s Sampension is signing up to the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

The pension fund, which has DKK 280 million (EUR 37.6 million) under management, plans to apply TCFD's recommendations to assess the carbon footprint of its investment portfolio, Sampension says in a company announcement.
