Sparinvest: Further revelations may change our view of Danske Bank

Responsibility is on top of Sparinvest's investment agenda, and the investment manager is not hesitant to say that it is surprised with the scale of Danske Bank's money laundering case. Sparinvest still invests in Danske, however, if more revelations are disclosed, it may change its view of Denmark's largest bank.

Sparinvest follows Danske Bank and its money laundering case in its Estonian branch very closely. And will continue to do so, says Sparinvest to AMWatch's sister site FinansWatch.

"Also in this case did we follow our thorough approach to responsible investments which we do in all our investments across the world. We follow the case closely, and together with our service provider we have been in dialog with Danske Bank and expressed our discontent," says Jens Moestrup Rasmussen, head of equities and deputy CIO at Sparinvest.
