Thriving London-based asset manager underway with Brexit plan

Impax Asset Management is attracting increasingly volumes of investment capital -- in the UK as well as outside Europe. But will the disruption of Brexit throw a spanner in the works? Not at all, say CEO Ian Simms.

Offering a variety of investment products linked to the shift towards a more sustainable world, British firm Impax Asset Management has drawn in more assets under management than ever in its latest business year.

In the year ending September 30 -- which also marks the company's 20th anniversary -- Impax reported inflows into its thematic equity funds totaling EUR 1.9 billion during the 12 months. Those same funds saw gains of EUR 515 million from market and currency movements.
