Sparinvest scores hat trick with new listing on Luxembourg Green Exchange

Denmark's Sparinvest is listing a new high-yield fund on the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX). So far, the firm is the only Scandinavian asset manager to take advantage of LGX to reach a broader "sustainability audience".

Nichola Marshall, head of responsible investing at Danish investment manager Sparinvest, has noticed that when it comes to responsible credit investment, it is nearly always "pure" green bonds taking centre stage. This worries her, because -- as she says -- achieving the "E" (environmental) part of the ESG agenda requires so much more than simply financing new renewable energy projects.

In May this year, Marshall was interested to hear about the Luxembourg Green Exchange's (LGX) new plan.
