Former NGO adviser swaps sides to head pension fund's ESG team

With a background as a political adviser at an NGO and being known for his critical view on pension funds and their responsible investment policies, Troels Børrild now finds himself working on the other side of the table ­ at Danish pension provider MP Pension.

At MP Pension ­ the Danish pension fund for MAs, MScs and PhDs ­ the man heading up ESG has quite a different background from most other ESG analysts. Because Troels Børrild was previously political adviser on corporate responsibility at Danish NGO Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, an organization that is part of the international alliance ActionAid.
