Former European Commissioner for Climate Action warns against neglecting sustainability in all investments

The subject of sustainability requires immediate action and it has to pervade all investments. Denmark's former Minister for Climate and Energy Connie Hedegaard not only encourages but warns Danish banks and pension companies as regulation may bite.

Words like sustainability and ESG have been recurring themes at investment conferences in the past couple of years. However, according to former European Commissioner of Climate Action Connie Hedegaard, talking about it and dedicating individual investments to the concept is far from enough.
