Use bond markets to challenge heavy carbon emitters, urges NBIM founder

The Norwegian oil fund's former CEO Knut Kjaer tells investors to influence heavy carbon emitters by not purchasing their bonds, saying that would be much more efficient than not purchasing their equities.

Investors could make more of an impact on the world’s biggest carbon emitters through the debt markets than through equity markets, according to former CEO of Norway’s giant sovereign wealth fund NBIM.
