Norway's KLP opens a door to Saudi Arabian exposure after visit

The Norwegian pension fund's responsible investment team recently visited Saudi Arabia to investigate if the 30 Saudi companies graduating to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index contravened KLP’s strict ESG principles.

"We had some good meetings in Saudi Arabia and there are positive changes happening in the country," Jeanett Bergan, Head of Responsible Investment at Norway's largest pension fund KLP, says in an interview with investors' news site top1000funds.com.
