Experts: Sustainable funds fail to prove that they are mitigating climate change

Heaps of money managers which have attracted huge sums for their sustainable funds in recent years might eventually have some explaining to to their clients and supervisory authorities.

In future years, green mutual funds will be placed under increased pressure from clients and from the EU to prove that they contribute to solving climate issues. But this will be near-impossible for individual funds, according to several experts.
