Danish FSA takes action against greenwashing investment products

Henceforth, Denmark's financial supervisory authority will closely monitor that no fund under its jurisdiction is touted as more sustainable than actually is the case.

Looking forward, labeling and selling investment products and pension funds as greener than they actually are will no longer be free of charge.

Danish financial supervisory authority Finanstilsynet is now moving to take action against financial sector greenwashing, and several parties say setting minimum standards for sustainable funds will be a gamechanger.
