Storebrand's new sustainability chief will increase the use of proactive engagement

The campaign to halt deforestation in Brazil is an example of proactive engagement that Storebrand's new head of sustainable investments, Kamil Zabielski, plans to do in other areas.

In February, Kamil Zabielski took over as Storebrand Asset Management's head of sustainable investments from long-timer Matthew Smith. One and a half months into his new job, Zabielski is ready to start talking about Storebrand's commitment to sustainability in the future.

Zabielski is conducting the interview with the view from Storebrand's headquarters in the western part of the greater Oslo area. In reality, he is sitting at home like most of his colleagues, with whom he hasn't yet had the chance to meet face-to-face. Still, he knows more about his new workplace than when he accepted his new position.
