Danske Bank and Finans Danmark challenge FSA's view of sustainable funds

Danske Bank and Finans Danmark disagree with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority's (FSA) reading of new rules regarding sustainable funds. The Danish authority has taken a clear stance, but Danske Bank and Finans Danmark hope for a European interpretation.

If a fund promotes a sustainable target, individual investments must also be sustainable. The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) has repeatedly made this clear to AMWatch's sister media FinansWatch, citing an official response by the EU Commission, and the sentiment was echoed once more at a seminar held by the authority on Wednesday.
