Nykredit to divest more than 60 fossil fuel companies

As part of its climate plan, Nykredit will additionally block new loans to oil, gas and coal companies.

In the future, it will not be possible to borrow money from Denmark’s largest mortgage banking group, Nykredit, for activities that contribute to the production of fossil fuels, the group announces in a Danish press release, which also states that the bank will divest more than 60 oil, gas and coal companies.
