Storebrand on climate targets: "The closer we get to 2050, the harder the job becomes"

Storebrand’s chief sustainability officer, Margrethe Assev, says that the company is part of an expert group that will develop a guide for Norwegian climate commitments.

Earlier this fall, AMWatch’s Norwegian sister media, FinansWatch, reported that DNB released its climate transition plan, which clarified the steps DNB would take to help achieve its climate goals of net zero emissions by 2050. Among other things, the group had set climate targets for 70% of its lending portfolio.
