
On Wednesday morning, several publicly traded banks issued a wave of positive statements about earning far more in 2018 than had been expected at the beginning of the year.
The reason behind this was that the board of the Danish asset manager Bankinvest has decided to write-up the value of the company's equity shares, which are owned by 39 banks that also distribute Bankinvest's investment products.
