Danske Bank's investment robot amasses DKK 440 million in a year

June, Danske Bank's investment robot launched just over a year ago, now has more than DKK 440 million (EUR 59 million) under management, according to Børsen.

June the digital investment product launched by Danske Bank in May 2017 now has more than DKK 440 million  (EUR 59 million) under management, according to business daily Børsen.

However, Danske Bank is not assessing the success of June solely on the basis of its capital under management.

"Asset management is not an isolated measure of success. It's just as important to see to which degree June is capable of reeling in first-time investors, as this service is an alternative to traditional bank savings," Jakob Beck Thomsen, Head of June, tells Børsen.

According to Børsen, June's competitor Darwin at Bankinvest has DKK 84 million under management. Darwin has been on the market since February, whereas June was launched just over a year ago.
