Founder of Spiltan Fonder does not see newcomers entering Swedish fund market

Experience requirements as well as regulatory and financial requirements make is very difficult to enter the Swedish fund market with a new company. Spiltan Founder Per H. Börjesson started a fund company almost 20 years ago but considers it almost impossible for others to do something similar today.

Starting up a new fund company in Sweden is much harder today than it was in the beginning of the century, according to Per H. Börjesson, Chairman and largest shareholder in Swedish investment company Spiltan.
