Equity rally fueled big pay rises for asset managers in 2019

Strong equity markets boosted returns for fund houses last year. The median pay for asset management staff – including bonuses - was up by 16.4 percent, according to new benchmarking figures.

Asset management staff received bigger pay rises than investment bankers in 2019 due to buoyant stock markets, the Financial Times reports.
