Tundra Fonder is waiting for a trigger to turn frontier markets around after new blow from corona

The covid-19 outbreak in March came after five tough years for frontier markets. At Tundra Fonder, CIO Mattias Martinsson is waiting for the trigger that will start a turnaround to bring returns back up to balance out the currently low valuations.

When the coronavirus exploded around the world and onto financial markets in March, it made its mark on the already hard-hit returns at Swedish boutique investor Tundra Fonder. While global equities more or less have gained back losses, that is not the case for Tundra's funds that invest in frontier markets.
