Goldman Sachs enters Copenhagen with valuable lessons

One of Wall Street's major institutions, Goldman Sachs, recently made a move to Copenhagen to strengthen relationships with new and existing clients. Although the corona crisis postponed the office opening, the managing director emphasizes the value of having a local presence.

With boots on the ground, international financing major Goldman Sachs hopes to strengthen its presence on the Danish market.

This will happen partly through an increased focus on its existing clients and partly by building new relations, which will allow the Danish office to offer the group's entire palette of financial solutions, managing director of the Danish and Nordic business, Peter Hermann, tells AMWatch's sister media FinansWatch.
