Nykredit WM on Sparinvest acquisition: Scale and an extensive product range are future essentials

Scale and the ability to have a wide product range are the essentials if Nykredit Wealth Management wants to continue growing, says CEO Peter Kjærgaard. He also sees great value in being owned by Nykredit's customers.

About a year ago, Danish mortgage bank Nykredit decided to establish its Wealth Management division. In the years before, Nykredit had doubled its AUM within five years. Around the same time, Nykredit bought domestic asset manager Sparinvest.
