AM market is becoming increasingly challenging for smaller players, says Carneo's CEO

As the largest independent asset manager in the Nordics, Carneo is still keen on growth. In this interview, CEO Christoffer Folkebo tells AMWatch why the ambition of doubling in size isn't just a matter of scale.

Two years ago, Carneo's CEO, Christoffer Folkebo, announced the group's ambition to double in size. Last year, he told AMWatch that the aim is to do it in five years. Back then, the largest independent asset manager in the Nordics managed EUR 25bn.

Today, that number is just shy of EUR 30bn, and the ambitions are still intact.
