Asset managers turn to Swan label for visibility: "We have seen a big interest from both retail clients and big institutional clients"

While the world of sustainable fund labels gains momentum, several asset managers from near and far have turned to the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, which today added Ålandbanken's global equity fund to its list. According to Triodos Investment Management and KLP Kapitalforvaltning, which have 15 labeled funds in total, the Swan comes with clear commercial benefits.

Today, the global equity fund Ålandsbanken Global Aktie obtained a Nordic Swan Ecolabel – making it the 45^th fund to receive the well-known designation. According to ESG Manager at Ålandsbanken Anna-Stina Wiklund, this is in reponse to the demand from clients to pick funds that invest sustainably.
