Today, the global equity fund Ålandsbanken Global Aktie obtained a Nordic Swan Ecolabel – making it the 45th fund to receive the well-known designation. According to ESG Manager at Ålandsbanken Anna-Stina Wiklund, this is in reponse to the demand from clients to pick funds that invest sustainably.
The list of fund providers with the label include Bankinvest, Handelsbanken, KLP, Swedbank Robur and SEB, among others. But next week already, the list of investment funds containing the Nordic Swan Ecolabel will be growing beyond its current 45, according to Per Sandell, business area manager financial services at Ecolabelling Sweden, the state-owned company responsibility for the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
