Nordea Funds' new head says his appointment was well-timed

The newly appointed head of Nordea Funds Norway, Nicolay Eger, will start the job on April 1. Both the state of the market and the Norwegian population's rising interest in savings provides a fine basis for growth.

Earlier this week, the Norwegian branch of Nordea Funds appointed in-house candidate Nicolay Eger to lead the unit. At April 1 he will take the reins from Petter Hermansen, who has headed Nordea Funds Norway since 2014 until joining the country's largest bank, DNB, in March in the role of head of private banking in Oslo.
