Danske plans wider retail access to advanced investment products

More complex investment products to the retail segment have been practically banned throughout Denmark's post-financial crisis years ­ but now they're reappearing.

Danske Bank wants to provide its retail clients with access to more advanced investment products currently only available for large institutional investors and very high net-worth wealth management clientele. The objective is to offer smaller investors more robust products with integrated risk management, resulting in less significant drawdowns in periods of market distress.
