DNB expects stiff competition from KLP henceforth

Norway's biggest bank remains the undisputed largest provider of investment funds in the country's retail space. However, DNB now has a rival that's showing stronger percentual growth than any other.

According to a review of this year's first six months issued by the Norwegian Mutual Fund Association (VFF), DNB is clearly the larger provider of investment funds in Norway. Now, however, the country's largest bank now faces competition from domestic pension company KLP's fund unit, which is growing at a rapid pace.
