BlackRock's head of Nordics sees "educational opportunity" for Nordic players to bring other regions on board with ESG

The Nordics is a very important region in terms of developing sustainable strategies, says the world's largest asset manager. BlackRock's head of Nordics, Elisabeth Sterner, believes that the Nordic perspective can help other regions to invest more sustainably.

BlackRock has had a presence in the Nordics since 2008. Today, the world's largest asset manager manages approx. USD 125bn (EUR 111bn) on behalf of Nordic clients like pension funds, insurance companies, other asset managers, banks and distribution platforms.
