Nordic asset managers prepared to navigate 2022 financial markets despite turbulent start to the year

After a volatile start to the year, equities are still in favor among Nordic asset managers. AMWatch has talked to the largest managers in the region about their view on the financial markets in 2022 and how to navigate geopolitical tensions and inflation.

It’s been a tough start to the financial year 2022. Recently published data shows that Danish mutual funds have had the worst returns in the first month of the year since the financial crisis in 2008. Global equities have taken a hit, and the Nordic markets – except Norway – are among the markets most in the red.
