P+ awards big mandate to Danske Bank AM

P+ CIO Kåre Hahn Michelsen has handed his former colleagues at Danske Bank Asset Management a multi-billion kroner tailored mandate as part of the pension fund’s new sustainable product. Danske Bank AM CIO Thomas Otbo calls it a turning point for Danske, which couldn’t keep pace with its peers in growth terms last year.

P+ has become the first occupational pension fund in Denmark to launch a sustainable product, P+ Bæredygtig, following in the footsteps of commercial pension companies like PFA, AP Pension and Velliv.
