Mixed net flow to Nordic investment funds in March – markets affected AUM positively

Assets under management grew in March primarily due to positive market developments. Sweden, the most equity heavy of the four Nordic investment fund markets, continued to see outflows from equity funds, while Norwegian investors have been equity net buyers during the first three months of 2022.

After being hit by financial market turmoil in the first two months of the year, assets under management in the Nordic fund markets regained some of the losses in March. Still, Sweden and Norway saw net outflows in the third month of the year.

The positive developments for most of the world’s equity markets in March meant that all four Nordic markets saw assets under management increase after they retracted in January and February.
