Nykredit's Sparinvest reports Q1 AUM growth driven by value strategies

Despite a turbulent quarter, assets under management at Sparinvest increased by 2.7%, partially fueled by a strong performance from value strategies, which also booked a net inflow. However, head of Nykredit Wealth Management Peter Kjærgaard is getting worried about Q2 investor sentiment.

Nykredit’s subsidiary Sparinvest has continued its strong momentum into 2022 despite a challenging and turbulent first quarter.

While assets under management at Nykredit Wealth Management dropped by 2.5% to DKK 427bn (EUR 57.4bn)– the lowest drop among Nordic asset managers so far – subsidiary Sparinvest saw AUM increase by 2.7% or DKK 4.2bn to total DKK 157.7bn (EUR 21.2bn).
