Dutch Triodos Investment Management buys stake in Danish renewables developer

Triodos Energy Transition Europe Fund has purchased a minority position in Danish green energy developer Windspace, also gaining a board seat.

Danish solar and wind developer Windspace is getting a capital injection for investment use as well as a new woman on the board of directors.

The developer has just signed a deal with Netherlands-based Triodos Energy Transition Europe Fund, overseen by Triodos Investment Management, regarding a minority equity position to the Dutch player for an undisclosed sum as well as a board seat for Chief Investment Officer Sonja de Ruiter, Triodos informs in a press statement.
