US asset management giant: Nordic countries are "ahead of the curve" in diverse asset classes

Following increased interest in diverse assets, Nuveen is expanding its Nordic operation, says managing director of Nordic team Alex Dam Hansen.

Nuveen, the asset manager for US Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA), is in the process of expanding its office in Copenhagen and diversifying its business in the Nordic region. The company, which manages USD 1.1trn in assets today, opened a hub in Copenhagen initially in late 2019.
