Analysis: How many Nordic asset managers will survive?

By 2027, one in six asset managers will disappear globally, an international survey predicts. In the Nordics, the AM industry is facing challenges that can also initiate a consolidation of managers.

Nearly three-quarters of asset managers (73%) globally are considering a consolidation with another asset manager in the coming months. And by 2027, one in six asset managers (16%) will disappear, twice the historical rate of turnover.
