Stricter rules prompt Norwegian asset managers to shift funds abroad

Some asset managers in Norway have stopped registering new funds in the country, opting to shift them abroad. Stricter FSA rules create an “unlevel playing field,” industry association VFF says.

Asset managers in Norway are pointing the finger at the country’s financial regulator as part of the reason they have stopped registering new funds in the country, opting to domicile them abroad.
