Danish pension savings shrink under new projections

Official projections of pension savings in Denmark have apparently been too optimistic. New figures have presented lower figures for the size of expected pensions. On the other hand, the new data is much more realistic, says Professor Jesper Rangvid.

Observant pension savers in Denmark will have noticed when they checked for the first time this year that their projected retirement money pots had dwindled. And when they check again on 1 January 2019, those pension savings will have shrunk even further.
