Swedish fund industry slams FSA's proposal to strongly limit fund offering in PPM system

The proposal from the Swedish financial supervisory authority that the premium pension system should offer a maximum of 15 funds has been met with strong criticism from the fund industry.

In a review of the Swedish premium pension system, the financial supervisory authority ­ Finansinspektionen – has proposed that the PPM-system should offer only 10-15 funds on its fund platform Fondtorget in the future.
