Swedish pension fund platform still labels suspended funds as low risk

Several of the Swedish fixed income funds that were suspended from trading last week are still locked and savers cannot dispose of their investments. But on the official trading platform Fondtorget, these funds are still classified as low risk - or very low risk.

Last week, 17 fixed income funds on the Swedish Pensions Authority's fund platform, Fondtorget, were suspended. Several of the funds are still blocked this week and saver's assets are locked up. Still, the official Swedish Premium Pension Authority, PPM, classifies all of the funds concerned as 'low risk' - or even 'very low risk', reports Swedish business daily Dagens Industri.
