The pressure to invest green: We would rather under-promise and over-deliver

Member pressure to invest greener has been a given since Anders Schelde joined Akademikerpension as CIO more than three years ago. Even though he and the rest of the management understand the feeling of urgency from members, changes have to be made in a responsible manner, Schelde tells AMWatch.

Akademikerpension is one of the front runners in terms of green investments. In 2016, the DKK 138.6bn (EUR 18.6bn) pension fund decided to align its investment policy with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
