New head of alternatives at PenSam plans to continue partnership model for alternatives

PenSam has hired a new head of alternatives with experience in the field from other Danish pension funds.

PenSam has hired Jeppe Starup as head of Private Capital & Real Assets. He started in his new job on July 1, and he plans to continue Pensam’s approach to alternatives through collaborations.

”We have found a way where we, through collaboration with like-minded investors, can access complex asset classes in a more cost-effective way, thereby ensuring better returns,” Starup tells Danish business daily Børsen.
