Pension companies await decision on SEK 60bn ITP scheme

Pension administrator Collectum is selecting the companies that manage the assets of Sweden’s supplemental pension scheme, ITP. Alecta’s failed investments in the US have created some uncertainty.

There will be many winners and a few losers among the 12 companies that are fighting for up to 10 soon-to-be vacant places on the list of Swedish insurers that manage the pensions in the country’s occupational ITP system.
