Default option benefited Swedish premium pension savers again in 2022

Pension savers in Sweden saw the value of their pensions decrease more last year if they themselves opted to invest in a selection of funds instead of using the AP7 Såfa default option.

If Swedish premium pension savers used a default option last year rather than invest in a selection of funds, their losses were less significant, a new report from the Swedish Pensions Agency states.
