Industriens Pension strikes oil company from exclusion list despite climate plan disapproval

Exxon features on the restricted lists of a long line of pension funds, but Industriens Pension has opted to remove the oil major from theirs.

It’s a sign that greenwashing works when Industriens Pension shows mercy on ExxonMobil by striking the oil company from its restricted list. This happens despite the energy company being excluded from 12 other pension funds, Professor at Harvard University, Naomi Oreskes, tells Danish business media Finans, and Copenhagen Business School professor Andreas Rasche agrees.
