Folketrygdfondet rejects unlisted assets – favors new unit for smaller listed Nordic companies

In a new recommendation to the Ministry of Finance, Folketrygdfondet points to setting up a new investment team in the Northern part of Norway.

Folketrygdfondet, which manages the domestic and Nordic part of Norway’s oil fund, has been commissioned by the Norwegian Ministry of Finance to investigate the possibilities of setting up a new asset management unit in Tromsø, the largest urban area in Northern Norway.
