Swedish FSA reports pension giant to anti-corruption unit for Heimstaden investment

The Swedish authorities are investigating whether corruption was committed when Alecta invested in a now troubled real estate company. The FSA has reported ”one or several individuals” to the police.

Sweden’s Financial Supervisory Authority, Finansinspektionen, has reported Alecta to the police on suspicion of corruption relating to the pension firm’s sizeable investment in the beleaguered real estate company, Heimstaden Bostad.
