PFA cuts payouts for market-rate pensioners – more firms expected to follow suit

After two years of increases, pensioners now face a reduction in pension payouts from Danish firm PFA Pension.

Denmark’s largest commercial pension company, PFA Pension, is preparing to reduce the payouts to pensioners on market-rate plans. Despite the large losses in 2022, PFA and several other companies increased payouts to pensioners. But returns have been lower than expected this year, and more companies are predicted to follow suit.
