AP Pension hires new equities chief

AP Pension is expanding its investment unit, and has found a new head of equities at Nykredit Asset Management. The appointee calls his new job "A golden opportunity".

AP Pension's investment unit is making space for another desk. The pension fund's chief investment officer (CIO), Ralf Magnussen, has hired Rasmus Cederholm for the newly-established position of head of equities.

Morten Hemmingsen took office on Aug. 1 as head of bonds at AP Pension, which means the pension fund has now created two new units under Ralf Magnussen. To Rasmus Cederholm, who hails from a position as senior portfolio manager at Nykredit Asset Management's global equity unit, and who takes office at AP Pension on Dec. 1, the switch is a "no-brainer".
