AMF Fonder names new CEO

Jonas Eliasson has joined AMF Fonder as new CEO. He replaces Gunilla Nyström, who has retired. Jonas moves from Alfred Berg Fonder where he worked since 2008 and for the last four years as CEO. He has previously worked at Swedbank.

Pensiondanmark snatches portfolio manager from Danica

Denmark's Pensiondanmark has hired Thomas Janik as portfolio manager. Janik has worked for Danske Bank for the past eight years, most recently as portfolio manager in Danica Pension. Janik has confirmed the move in an e-mail to AMWatch, but has no further comments.

BNP Paribas hires new CEO for Nordic region

For the past 20 years, Eirik Winther has worked at Ciiti and most recently as Head of the Nordic division, however, he has now joined BNP Paribas as Managing Director for the Nordics and Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking in the Nordics.

He has previously worked as Citi's Head of Capital Markets for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

PBU lays of CIO over the last 15 years

Danish pension fund Pædagogernes Pensionskasse, PBU, has waved goodbye to its CIO for the past 15 years, Morten Schou.

Citigroup promotes two employees to Co-Head Nordic investment division

Lars Ingemarsson and Ari Mäkelä have been promoted at Citi as Co-Heads of Investment Banking for the Nordic region. They will lead a Nordic team that includes Nicholas Blach Petersen, Head of Investment Banking in Denmark, and Morten Eikebu, Head of Investment Banking in Norway.  

Both joined the American investment bank in 2011, Lars Ingemarsson came from JP Morgen and Ari Mäkelä previously worked at Deutsche Bank.

New Chief Client Officer to join Saxo Bank in February

Damien Bunce is new Chef Client Officer and member of the executive team at the Danish asset broker Saxo Bank. The former employee of Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital and most recently Russian Sberbank begins at Saxo Bank at February 19, 2018. He reports to CEO, Kim Fournais.
