Norwegian head of insurance closes the circle and returns to Copenhagen

New head of Gjensidige in Denmark has only worked in the insurance sector for seven years. However, his long and international career in corporate finance working with IPOs and M&As has cushioned the Norwegian economist for senior level jobs in the insurance sector.

Mats C. Gottschalk's career in insurance was kickstarted at a meeting in Copenhagen, and now he has returned to head the Danish branch of Norway's largest insurance company, Gjensidige.
