Peter Kubicki: It is no use always running at 100 m/hr

When Peter Kubicki became Head of Equities at Enskilda in the late 90s, he was in it to win it - always. Today, the former broker takes up a new chair on the other side of the table as an asset manager. It has been a personal journey and focus has shifted from very short-term profit maximization to acknowledge the reasons for long-term investment, he explains to FinansWatch in an interview.

Had anyone told Peter Kubicki 20-25 years ago that he would one day be working in asset management, he would have deemed them mad.

Long-term investments were not a good match with a young, ambitious Head of Equities at investment bank SEB Enskilda in Denmark.
